Robot Recruiters are just the latest HR technology, Handling Pre-Interview Screenings!

Soon it could be a robot recruiter that would be handling the first steps of the hiring process with interviews.

The robot is able to ask and field questions, process answers, and filter quality applicants through a set of prescribed stipulations and factors.

If the robot thinks the applicant is a good fit, she'll schedule an interview for them with the actual hiring manager.

Not all robots have ulterior motives. In fact, there might just be a few who want to give you a job.

Formerly known as FirstJob, Mya Systems was co-founded in 2012 by Eyal Grayevsky, CEO and James Maddox, CTO.

The San Francisco-based company launched Mya, its AI-recruiter in July of 2016, and quickly gained an A-list of customers including three of the five largest global recruiting agencies and several Fortune 500 companies.

Interestingly, Mya is already being used by Fortune 500 companies across the U.S!

Many organizations now use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), a software application that helps employers with the time-consuming and expensive process of screening and filtering out hundreds of candidates.

This means that you have to make it past the robot eyes in order to progress your application.

If the applicant isn't a fit for the gig, Mya suggests other jobs to which they might be better suited, based on keywords and zip code - an interesting feature which human recruiters seldom do.
