Strictly NO PLACE FOR MILLENNIALS
Looking for a job? Millennials do not need to knock on the doors of a newly established IT company, EverYoung, in Seoul, South Korea, when they are looking for a job. EverYoung has a very strict policy to only employ people above 55 years old.

The 56 year old businessman, Chung Eunsung, who started the IT company, says he's vision is to address the demographic time bomb which exists in South Korea. At the same time, he wants to challenge the corporate culture, who strongly discriminate against older employees.
Because of a drop in the birthrate, last year, 13,2% of Seoul's population consists of people over 65 years and older. It is predicted that by 2030 it will have increased to 24,5%.
Senior employees are under tremendous pressure to retire before the official age of 60. Chung says even people in their 40's are concerned that they will lose their jobs.

The oldest employee of EverYoung is 83 years old. Employees are working 4 hour shifts on platforms like Naver, South Korea's equivalent to Google, to monitor and sensor sensitive information like children's identification on public web sites.
It is compulsory that personnel must take a 10 minute break every 50 minutes to take a deep breath and relax in a recreational area full of couches and books, you can even have your blood pressure checked as well. There is a well stocked pantry with snacks, from which staff can help themselves.
According to Chung, people like to believe that senior citizens are slow and cannot keep up with technology, but his senior employees are full of passion and energy and are always willing to learn new skills, they show a high level of attention to detail and spend much less time on their cell phones.
Chung is not getting a salary but uses the company's returns to pay for salaries and benefits, including an eye test every 2nd year, as well as free membership to a health club and a cash bonus for every grand child.
EverYoung has grown from 30 to 420 employees in four years.

millenials are worthless ridiculous snowflakes. I am hearing good things about Z though....
The problem with some millennials is that they seek instant gratification, especially here in South Africa. Not all of them are worthless though. I often think it is how we as parents raised them. Did we perhaps wanted to spare them from all the hardship we endured?
