Which one to buy? - ThreadRipper of course! It's not easy nowadays to have a pure SMP processor for that much cheap! Pure integer beast! As usual... AMD!
Buying a threadripper for gaming or even for content creation would be an overkill ... though the enthusiasts will buy it
Well, I guess I am guilty here then. I was not assuming buying it for one specific job. But instead, because for the number of things I do, SMP is the best overall solution. And here, performance wise, I would still prefer Intel, but for the price/performance, ThreadRipper wins...
