Redmi note 7 By xiaomi: The best smartphone for 150 USD

being Colombian, I had the pleasure of visiting the first xiaomi store in Latin America. And I have to say that xiaomi is a really good company, offering different appliances at low price, including phones. Recently the Chinese giant claimed that Redmi would separate from xiaomi becoming a sub-brand, and recently Redmi announced its first smartphone; Redmi note 7. Here are some of its specifications.

Software (Operating system and others)

The Redmi note 7 is equipped with the latest version of android, 9.0 (Pie) and the typical customization layer of xiaomi, MIUI in its most recent version, 10.

Cameras

This is one of the sections that morehighlighted in the presentation of the phone. And the section that has given more than to talk about it, and is that you can make photos of up to 48 megapixels with its 2 rear cameras. The first one has 12 megapixels and the second one is 5 megapixels. And ask yourself, then how is it that it makes 48 megapixels ?, because in reality it makes a function by means of software so that the camera, increases 4 times the photograph so that it can be of 48 MP, but it does NOT mean that the camera have 48 MP. The camera for selfies has a sensor of 13 megapixels.

Hardware (Processor and others)

Features Qualcomm snapdragon 660 as processor. That is not bad, but I would have preferred a 675. It has 3 versions of RAM and ROM (internal storage): 4 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM.

Screen

The screen of the smartphone will be 6.3 inches with resolution FullHD + (2340 × 1080) pixels and LTPS incell quality.

Design

It is made of glass, with too flashy colors that join the gradient trend; There are 3 colors Blue, Pink and Black. Its screen will occupy much of the front making the frames very small and with a notch in drop type that does not look bad at all. And finally you will have the fingerprint reader in the back, which I think will be very fast, as we are used to xiaomi, or rather Redmi.
