My Computer Specs (and Future Upgrades)

in #technology8 years ago (edited)

So as I have probably previously mentioned, I built my own computer. So I am sure some of ya'll are probably wondering what's in it so here it is:

  • Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • Asus Z170-E ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
  • Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
  • ADATA Premier SP550 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
  • Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD
  • Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
  • Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
  • Asus DRW-24B3ST/BLK/G/AS DVD/CD Writer
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
  • TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter

The ADATA hard drive is my boot drive (C: drive), the Western Digital HDD is my drive for everything else; except my Samsung SSD (Salvaged from a computer) is exclusive for my GTA5 game files.

Now, you're probably noticing the lack of a GFX Card, and here is the list of upgrades I want to get for my computer:

  • PNY GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Video Card
  • 2nd stick of Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
  • CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler
  • 2x Cooler Master SickleFlow (Red) 69.7 CFM 120mm Fans

All of the above are in order of highest to least priority.

Comment your specs so I can see what all everyone is rocking, and what they plan on for future upgrades!
