Yes, I think there are chances of AIs going rogue and acting against our interests, and Elon Musk might very well be right when he says we would need to be as smart as them to avoid our extinction.
I didn't know there were already a case with an AI writing its own code, I guess that's just the beginning, exciting times are ahead of us.

Exactly bro. With the power given to AIs to write their own codes, it wouldn't be long, and they'll become self-aware. Now, that's the real threat.
