The Government Is Lying to Us About Cybersecurity

I'm not sure which is more frightening. The possibility that the government may be this stupid or the possibility that they think everybody else is this stupid. One or the other (or both) must be true.

In a press conference, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein stated that the “absolutist position” that strong encryption should be, by definition, unbreakable is “unreasonable.” The DOJ is lying about three things.
