Admittedly I rarely use the browser interface but I haven't had a problem with it. I mostly still use the PS3 attached to my TV for Netflix purposes and that still works great. For a truly crappy interface experience, check out Amazon Prime's interface in the built-in app in Sony DVD/Blu-Ray players. Mine is a couple years old so maybe it has gotten better.
