Future of Wireless Charging
Concept of wireless charging is not new but on this CES 2020, many developments were seen to be made in this field. A startup named Guru is claiming to provide a future free of all the physical wires and power transmission can be done via high frequency radio waves.
At first this startup will reveal three products. 5G technology will be used for high speed data transmission.
Precision is the most important factor in all this because to identify device location and transmission of energy to that specific device lots of precision.
Smart RF Lensing was introduced which enables more control and to send radio waves through air medium.
At present, receivers are required for device any device to be charged. It might change in future and devices might come built-in with receivers.
Founders of this technology do claim all of this to be safe for human use and hopefully it will be available for end-users soon.
This might be just a start to fulfill dream of wireless charging by Nicola Tesla.
