For People Still On the Fence About Technology

Even with numerous commercials and displays in stores, there are still many people who feel that computers or any related devices are not worth purchasing because they seem far too difficult to use. With the threat of viruses looming and the exorbitant fees associated with getting rid of them many people won’t put up with the investment. There is also the concern that they know few people that can help them out and that most media portrays after sales service to be abysmal at best. Unless prospective customers are shown how easy it is to use a computer, they will see it as a niche.

A solution for this would be to eliminate any misinformation. For example, many people believe that they would have to purchase a $1000 Apple Macbook Pro just to get a pleasant browsing experience. A Chromebook, which starts around $150, gets the job done as well and host the applications that the majority of consumers would use. It is also believed that aftermarket care such as antivirus subscriptions, would create a permanent dent in people’s wallets. However, starting with windows 8/ windows has its own, free virus protection installed, leaving you with little worry. Even if yo do manage to get a virus, there are ways to get it removed without paying exorbitant fees at best buy while in the comfort of your own home. Therefore without the high costs brought by misunderstandings of aftermarket care, buying a computer should be an easy pill to swallow.

In short, computers are not the hulking overheating servers that they were in the 90’s. With continuous improvements in software, we come to a place in time where everyone can use anything they want at any price they can afford. I feel that this is an important time to let people know about this because if they have doubts about using a computer, how will they come to utilize/invest in cryptocurrencies, much less platforms like steemit?
