The Search Engine Giant " Google " Has Been Hit With A $2.7 Billion Dollar Fine For Cheating?

Good morning Fellow Steemians,

Looks like the search engine giant Google is in hot water! It is being reported, that after a seven year investigation the company has been slapped with a huge fine in the amount of 2.7 Billion dollars for breaking the European Antitrust Laws. The European Commission released a statement, stating that Google gave itself the upper hand against its competitors Yelp, Getty Images, Oracle Corporation & more by using its shopping service, Adsense and the Android operating system.

Google has been advised to quit using these types of illegal tactics within 90 Days, and if they don't comply with this demand they'll be held accountable in non-compliance payments of up to 5% the daily turnover of Alphabet Inc.

Google has claimed its innocence in the entire matter and plans to consider an appeal of the accusations being made against the search engine giant. It's already known that Google has a superb team of lawyers so this will be interesting to see how the Europe VS Google case will play out.
