Does the RoBOT pay income tax to support the Taxation system to pay for the unemployed?
I have no problem with robots as long as they pay taxes to support the people they destroy the incomes of . . .
The concept of employment as a necessity will soon be outmoded. Automation will have replaced so many jobs that society will have to start seeing basic survival needs as human rights. This is a good thing. Technology was supposed to make lives easier.
So no one needs anything anymore, we will all just exist and do whatever we feel like and magically pay our bills somehow.
Technology will provide all including personal satisfaction and we need do nothing virtually, kool everything is done for us : )

No we don't "magically" do anything. Needs are met by universal basic income, luxuries are afforded through innovative pursuits, something humans will always be better at, I'd wager.
