Slaughterbots Are about to Become Real

Full disclosure: I am a techno optimist. That being said, this video does an excellent job of demonstrating the problem we will face when autonomous agents are allowed to kill. There is no easy answer here. While I understand the natural inclination to have all nations agree to a ban, it is unrealistic in the extreme to believe this can be monitored and enforced with any real certainty. I think robust counter measures may be our only hope. We need an honest discusion free of ideological clap trap. This is a real problem looming on the horizon and we need to get creative. A complete ban seems to be both simplistic and naive. What are your thoughts Steem community? I will finish with one of my favorite quotes: "Humanity today is like a waking dreamer, caught between the fantasies of sleep and the chaos of the real world.
