She said, "People are braindead zombies. The world is fucking doomed."

I said Hun, we slay toxic ideas merely by recognizing them. If we refuse to uplift others due to dullness or lack of brightness, we fail, not them. We sleep, not the zombies. So it's better we relentlessly try to awaken. Better we flip the clock ahead, flip it upside down, divide it into 3. Technology is 3 steps forward, 1 step back. We still move forward but the back step is the best step. The hardest step. The most progressive step.

View the clock animation above. A standard clock uses modular time of 12 hours of 2 rotations per day. But consider instead an 8 segment clock of 3 rotations per day. The mechanism of a clock slightly changes. The second and minute hands remain the same but the hour hand rotates faster. It's still the same day. It's still the same amount of time, but we break it apart and conceive it differently. All that's required to change our world for the better is a different state of mind. A new way of seeing the same thing.

Now it's perfectly sensible to ask, "What's the point to all this, why should I care about time?" Because if you're late, you're fired. Because if you don't show up promptly, you're rude and inconsiderate. Because if you don't message me on my birthday, you're not a close friend. Because if we don't plant seeds in season, we starve to death and so does our tribe. Time rules us. Time controls us. We are slaves to time, well, slave is such a harsh word. I'd rather like to to say we're masters of time. Masters in the making. Masters in training. Mastering our slavery.
