What's FarmaTrust?
FarmaTrust is a company trying to change the pharmaceutical industry with the help of blockchain, artificial intelligence and data analytics.

Why is a change needed?
A big problem is that there are a lot of counterfeit drugs out there. People try to copy successful medicine - but only the look of it. So it looks like the original drug but the truth is: It isn't. These drugs are life threatening in the long run and counterfeiter are only interested in the profit.

What can FarmaTrust do about it?
FarmaTrust has a revolutionary vision in which counterfeiter have no chance to betray customers anymore (or at least it is way harder for them).
But how? The blockchain plays a crucial role:
Through the use of a blockchain customers can retrace the origin of the drug and thereby determine if the medicine is an actual drug that can help them or not. Customers can check on that by simply scanning a QR-code printed on the product.
In addition to that they use AI and data analysis to ensure that counterfeit drugs have no chance at all.
