New commercial solution for Wirelessly charging your Phone - Pi
Wireless charging is not a new concept but all previous projects were limited in functionalities even Apple X pad-based charging does not completely fall into category of wireless.
There is new startup called Pi in MIT has created first of its kind contactless wireless charging device that delivers power to your smartphone or any other compatible devices up-to distance of 1Feet. This device can ease up your lifestyle because this time you don't need additional hardware like charging pads. So now you can even use and move your phone when its charging.
This new device can simultaneously charge four device right now and its power output is 10Watt per device. You can add further devices for recharge but more than four would charge at somewhat reduced power.
Expected market price for this device would be around 200$ but there is some discount policy for first 314 customers as they can get this device by paying 50$ less.

It is true that this invention may change our way of life.
But I have to ask about this device is there any waves and radiation coming out, and if this exists are they at harmful levels.
As i mentioned this concept is startup, so obviously when they launch on full-scale, they will have to pass some regulations & safety tests.
