Multiple Networks

Multiple networks allow you to compartmentalize information and decide on who gets access.

Having guests over means a load of devices which may be compromised. At some point you will be asked for the wifi password to save data.

One easy way around this is to create a guest network using the same router. This is the cheapest way but if you can afford it buy another router just for the guest network.

Don't forget to set controls as well as updating the firmware and password for each router. If you often have young guests maybe two guest networks, one with parental controls on the same router.

Make sure that shared network areas are empty, don't leave files where you will forget about them. Planning on what files to share in advance along with removing when finished is important. As it sets a good habit for you to follow, remember if it is not there it cannot be stolen or misused.
