Horse Photography, Java, Python, Linux

I wrote earlier about my recurring efforts to learn to program. It has been some time, and I have not made a lot of progress, as I predicted. I dabbled with getting Linux to run on my laptop, but going down that rabbit hole was ended by the sheer luck that it failed.
It turns out I really do not like Java all that much. I think there are a few reasons, but the bottom line is that I am now seriously considering trying Python instead. This got me to thinking of Linux and Raspberry Pi (thanks a bunch @inertia). Naturally that means I spent the last several hours researching Linux distros and testing them using VirtualBox.
And that brings me to the fun part. Every few years I have to watch this video. I remember waiting until my son was old enough to watch it (NSFW) because I knew he would recognize me in it. Now I am waiting for my next son to get a little older so I can show him...and then the next...and then my daughter. My wife laughs, but she just shakes her head because well, Java, dual boot Linux, Python, Linux in a VM, horse photography.
