The leaks are the order of the day and Apple, as is often the case, was targeted once more by one of them. According to a document of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC in English), the company led by Tim Cook has in mind to launch soon two new models of its traditional iPad tablet.
This registration spread through the Mashable site came after the Californian company began the process to market them in Russia and Armenia. The products were designated as "A1893" and "A1954".
As it is an administrative process, the document does not mention the characteristics of the products and does not mention a probable launch date. However, this type of records usually happens very close to a presentation or launch, suggesting that Apple could reveal these two tablets, perhaps next March.
Although it could also mean that these new devices are just a cheaper upgrade of current models, they slipped from Mashable.
Since the iPhone X hit the market in September 2017, rumors pointed to the fact that the new generation of iPads would come with drastic changes in design - the cancellation of the start button, for example - and the incorporation of new features, such as Face ID security tool.
