Nokia 6.1 Plud by HMD Global will be Flipkart Exclusive
HMD Global, who has license to create Nokia brand smartphones, is organizing an event in India on 21 August 2018. The company is expected to launch two smartphones in this upcoming event. Under the latest development, the domestic e-commerce company has made a separate page on Flipkart.com, confirming that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be exclusively available in Flipkart. By the previous week, it was speculated that the company plans to launch Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. Nokia 6.1 Plus will be the global variant of Nokia X6, recently launched in China. But after this it was confirmed that the company will launch two smartphones in the country. In some reports, it was revealed that Nokia plans to launch the Nokia flagship flagship event in this event, while some reports had reports of the launch of Nokia 5.1 Plus.
Prior to the launch, Nokia's licensed HMD Global has reduced the price of Nokia 6.1 in the country. Now Nokia 6.1 smartphone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant. The cost of both the variants has been cut by Rs 1,500. Both phones will be available for purchase at Rs 15,499 and Rs 17,499. On Nokia's official website, the handset has already been listed with new prices in site.
HMD Global has already launched Nokia 6.1 Plus in Hong Kong last year at 2,288 Hong Kong Dollars (about INR 20,000). The handset has a 5.8-inch Full HD + display with resolution (1080x2280 pixels). The aspect ratio of the screen is 19: 9. The phone has an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor. In China, 4 GB RAM and 32GB storage variants in China cost 1,299 Chinese Yuan (Rs 13,800), 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants for 1,499 Chinese yuan (about 16,000 rupees) and 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant 1,699 Chinese yuan (about INR 16,000 ) was kept.
Hope HMD global will be able to regain the market share of Nokia in future but its not going to be easy because there are many players in smartphone market creating huge competition.
