The MAN who made his own HELICOPTER
Augusto Ulderico Cicaré is an Argentine inventor who, without engineering studies, manufactured a helicopter and founded the company Cicaré Helicópteros S.A. This self-taught inventor was born on May 25, 1937 in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since he was a child he was fascinated by mechanics and he was struck by an article published in a magazine about a helicopter, there he began his dream of creating one.
Between 14 and 15 years of age, he develops and manufactures several diesel and gasoline engines with great success, he patents and sells them, with the money obtained he began to manufacture the first pieces of what was the dream of his life and his passion, the helicopter.
At 21, Augusto specifies his ambition as a child to manufacture and fly his first helicopter, the CICARE CH-1. This machine, like its engine, were created with materials and instruments that were within its reach in its agricultural workshop (bed pipes and electrical installations in disuse), which were not properly materials or aeronautical instruments. The CICARE CH-1 is constituted in the first aircraft of this type developed and built in South America.

Wow!!! Nothing is impossible in life! All we need is self believe, passion and confidence. Just take a look at the life of this great man, without the required knowledge he was still able to build this.
