Being a techno fan, Stammheim was on my list of places to visit, but I never ever made it :( Luckily I had the opportunity to experience many other great clubs. We had Mazzo in Amsterdam, the place for techno in the 90s. Now it is a restaurant. But, we got some cool spots in return, like De School and Shelter. And yeh, maybe more good and quality techno around today, in absolute count, but I must say, I liked it when Techno was in the underground scene, and not that popular as it is today. With the mass coming to the parties, the vibe is simply not the same anymore at events.
