Screen iPhone X vs Note 8, Which is More Tough?

iPhone X comes with an OLED screen manufactured by Samsung. No less with Apple, Samsung has even been using OLED on some of his smartphones like the Galaxy S7 Edge up to Note 8 with AMOLED screen. So whether the resilience of the screen is the same?

cetizen - South Korean technology site tested the OLED screen of the iPhone X, Note 8 and Galaxy S8 Edge for 510 hours to measure burn-in. For those of you who are laymen, burn-in is a term when the screen changes color because the image appears too bright and has many colors.

From the test it was found that the iPhone X takes a longer time to burn-in than two Samsung smartphones are included.

the site lets the smartphone screen display a static image with maximum brightness during the test. iPhone X first showed signs of burn-in after 17 hours, but at the time the image retention was not so bad in normal use.

Note 8 galaxy also takes longer to show retention, but after 62 hours of retention it looks more clear than iPhone X, so users can identify the burning points in Note 8.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S7 Edge is also almost showing signs of burn-in. But similar to iPhone X where image retention is not so bad.

At the end of the test ie after 510 hours, all three smartphones have very striking, even potentially permanent image retention. Even so, the Samsung smartphone duo shows a burn-in higher than the iPhone X.
