IBM announces world's smallest BLOCKCHAIN COMPUTER which can track objects

IBM announced today, March 19 the world's smallest blockchain computer capable of tracking objects. Soon we will be able to see everyday devices embedded with these computers.

These nano chips are siad to as powerfull as much larger computers from the 90's. These nano chips are said to be able to work in tandem with Blockchain Distributed ledger systems.

IBM Research Head Arvind Krishna was quoted saying,

“Within the next five years, cryptographic anchors — such as ink dots or tiny computers smaller than a grain of salt — will be embedded in everyday objects and devices".
“They’ll be used in tandem with blockchain’s distributed ledger technology to ensure an object’s authenticity from its point of origin to when it reaches the hands of the customer.”

The announcement was made during the first day of IBM Think 2018 conference at Las Vegas
The release shows IBM's vested interset in the future of Blockchain Technology. This is not however their first Blockchain project, earlier in January 2018 IBM launched blockchain based supply chain management system in collaboration with the world's largest shipping company Maersk.
