quotenix.com tech support scammer cold calls me
I had to rush to boot up my computer/VM which is why the first 10 minutes of the call is missing. These scammers claimed to be from Microsoft(which is false) and that they had been notified that my computer was infected so they got me to open up "Event Viewer" to try to convince me I had a virus. Then they got me to download a Remote Access Tool.
