Why Mediatek is hated this much in India....?

First of all we are not haters of MediaTek Processors, While exploring about mobile processors in the web. We can see that many techies are complaining about MediaTek processors. Did you ever think why MediaTek processors are hatred?, Many people are refusing to buy some smartphones because simply they are powerd by MediaTek chip set. Majority of low cost smartphone manufacturers are using MediaTek because of the lower cost. But MediaTek failes always in power management.The battery backup even with big 3000 MAh batteries were pathetic.Heating is also an issue MediaTek due to their architecture.The Android updates for MediaTek devices are a little late because MediaTek takes more time to release new kernal updates for the latest Android versions.
But now things are changed. MediaTek started to make some powerful power efficient and less heating processors such as Helio series. The new Samsung J7 Max and J2 Prime were powered by MediaTek processors. But there is a small lack of power efficiency in the earlier versions of Helios too. The new Lenovo K8 note is powered by Helios X23 Octa core processor. But some battery optimization should be done there because K8 is somewhat failes to manage its power. Even there is some heating and power management issues, the Helios X23 performs much better than the Snapdragon 625 in that range.
