Missing someone and crying for it just show you loved and cared and you miss what you still love... I believe love is not something that goes, precisely he lives on in your love.

My relationship with my father (he's gone too) was always a bit more complicated... it hurts me sometimes to wonder if he did care for us (his own way) which is a doubt I'll always carry.

Yes, our tears and our grieving sometimes is just our love and missing expressing itself. Testament to our feeling hearts and our humanity in this world that is sometimes so harsh.
Know that he must have regretted not telling and showing you how much he loved you, Yidneth. Your two hearts are and will always be one, as father and daughter. In your quiet time, imagine being with him, talking to him and listening to him telling you how much he loves you.
It may not feel real for the first time, but as you connect with him in your heart and express your love and heart completely to him, you will feel a shift, a knowing of healing and balancing unfolding and occurring. Allow, repeat again when you want to deepen that. As you clear and release, you clear and release all that separated you in life so it is healed by Grace for all time.
