Tears Of Africa

Tears from the land of a thousand sons
A primordial area, the birthplace of everyone
A land of beauty under a scorching sun
A land of potential, A land for anyone

But the evil hearts of men, make the soil bleed
And corruption steals opportunity, from those who can read
Hunger and struggle, hold down the ones who can lead
And for rights you deserve, you have to plead

Hear the cries of a thousand children
Whose tears and pain is not hidden
Who seek and hope for a pilgrim
And who have lost all trust and hope in their own system
