Helping someone is giving to the person some of your possession or things you have and the receiver does not have at all or does not have enough .

A genuine helper should zero his/her mind on what he/she will get from rendering a help or doing charity contrary to what is happening in our society this days , many do charity or help others because they are expecting a help or favour in return for the help rendered , the rich are rendering help to each other leaving those that are genuinely in need of help helpless

This is because they probably believe the rich counterpart can also give them something in return .
Read a story of a man who was angry because his charity offer was rejected by an orphanage home during Christmas season simply because the orphanage home had enough of the food the man is willing to donate and which collecting the man's offer will only lead to the spoilage of such food . The main reason it was like that is because we have a lot of volunteers during celebration periods such as Christmas , Easter etc .
What i learnt from this is that the spirit of charity and donations should not be seasonal and not something rapped and keep away until black Friday or Christmas roles in around . if you want others emulate the spirit of charity/ Volunteerism from you , there are 364 other days of the year to do that , even organizations such as the one that said No to the man donations would be opened due to volunteer shortages .
Although there are people who are worthy of respect and genuine relationship when it comes to charity and helping others i . e people who gives gifts more and bigger than what you can give to them and making non seasonal donations .
Try and help someone today with the little you have , don't wait till you are rich before you do , remember " givers never lack " .......
