GREATFUL VIBES : The Passing of my dear Sister, appreciation to the steemit community for The support.

About 4 months ago, i brought it up to you fellow steemians, a plea to help me , rest of the family and well wishers in raising funds for my dear cousin hefty medical bill due to brain tumor. More than $30,000 was needed for her surgeries and other medical procedures that were done in India.

More funds were being raised via whatsapp groups y friends and families, and other social medias. I personally was handling mostly the facebook fund raising campaigns and steemit. Unfortunately after the last post of her surgery, i did not give any feedback to the community regarding her progress , mainly because it was the family's request to maintain her privacy and not share her photos . I would understand this because she was in pretty bad shape after her major head surgeries . Her face was somewhat disfigured, she had lost her memory and quite a  bit of other complications. I therefore decided not to continue with my campaigns for fundraising here as it will not be appealing if no photos are attached. However, the funds collected from those posts and  what i received directly from friends and well wishers here was all sent home and forwarded to my Cousin who was coordinating it all. 

After about a month of hospitalization in India, they returned home, even though the Doctors were recommending a prolonged hospital stay for her . Circumstances were seeming best to continue treatment back home and if need be, they will fly back to India, she was in fact supposed to be flown back this  month or so, for a follow up procedure and check up on progress.

Anyway, it turns out her progress was not so good, she was going through quite a lot, until one day   she got worse and rushed to hospital. She did not last long after that. This happened about 12 days ago, hence my angry post about how useless  and worthless life is here

on a very special note, i would like to thank fellow steemians for your unwavering support. Not only towards the contribution towards her medical bill, but also with the comforting messages received, both on here and offline.

ever heard the saying of some friends stick closer than a brother? well i dont mean it in the literal sense of it but in this case the "brother" to imply the people i have come to know in real life Vs the "friend" to mean the steemit family that i have come to know . I received more support and cooperation towards the fundraiser on here than i did with the people i know in real life.

Thank you steemit, once again for coming through for me, i did not receive the amount i had aimed for, but i felt the love and support, i am forever grateful.
