Aunt Judy's Diary.
Do you often feel depressed? Do you feel like you are unloved? Are you Overworked? Do you feel underappreciated by the people who you work your ass off, for? Do you feel like life is unfair to you particularly?
Well, suck it up, get over yourself, shut down that pity party you're throwing yourself, and fix your life, because no one's going to do it for you. Take a break from that Job, or better still, quit before it kills you. Cut off from people who underappreciate your efforts, and cut off from people who do not see anything good in you. Love the hell outta yourself, because no one can do that better than you. Get help if needed, talk to someone.
I found the above write-up on Aunt Judy's diary, one month after she died from an overdose of her pills. Yeah, that's right, she killed herself. Obviously she'd been trying to give herself a pep talk, even though she didn't heed to her own advice eventually.
Aunt Judy was our great aunt. Young, vibrant and fun to be around. She was unmarried and had no kids of her own, but she took great care of us, when dad and mom were away. She always smiled, and never raised her voice at anyone. She was always the life of the party.
What we didn't know was, she was suffering from depression, so serious that it drove her to suicide. What we didn't see was that, she was masquerading when she was around us, but dying when she was away. She put up that act so damn well, she ought to win an Oscar for it. We didn't look hard enough.
Depression isn't always that girl that's crying in the bathroom, or the boy that always wears long sleeves. It isn't always suicide notes and pill bottles. Sometimes, it's all smiles and good grades. Sometimes, it's the boy that's always helpful and the girl that you always borrow things from. Depression isn't always that easy to notice. - (k.b.g)
