I will introduce to you my hometown CATEEL, DAVAO ORIENTAL.
My storie is all about SUPER TYPHOON PABLO ( Calamity in the year 2012)
This is throwback experience.
When I saw the place I feel deeply emotional. Before the typhoon came I considered the place are blessed. With many stunning things. Like beaches, coves, stunning waterfalls, historical landmark. These are my beautiful Hometown CATEEL.

Cateel for me and for my fellow Cateelenos is a caring, loving place.
On the very morning of Dec 4, 2012, the world and cateelenos shocked when the strongest tropical cyclone close to our place. Name TYPHOONE PABLO ( international name BOPHA) It made landfall in Baganga, Davao Oriental about 45 min drive from my hometown of CATEEL with winds of 160 mph ( 260 km/ h) classified as super typhoon category 5.

I was closely monitoring the weather our television. Since I already live in Lapu-Lapu City, I was depressed to my hometown and I’m also worried for my family, relatives and my grandmother. That time I tried to call my auntie, cousin’s phone but it cannot be reach. The Communication that time are in down.
I feel wondering and thinking because this was my 1st typhoon experience so that I deside to go HOME. Our sembreak. Dec 19,2012
Our house was completely destroyed…. Coconut tress feel. But I Thanks god bacaude 100% of them are still fine and alive.
My MOTHER CEMETERY
I saw my childhood Best friend. I saw there smile and happiness despite of everything.
And now, I am very proud of my kababayan!
They are RISE and bring inspiration to the Filipino People.
