Let me first start with this, are you a primary / nursery school teacher in Nigeria?, is your father a primary / nursery school teacher in Nigeria?, is you mother a Nigeria teacher?, is your aunty or uncle a Nigeria teacher?.

Again have you ever experience the hardship or what the Nigerian teachers are really going through in this country, i am really touched with what Nigerian teachers are going through.

Well i will want you to understand the meaning of priority.

the meaning of priority.

Priority is the state or quality of being earlier in time, occurrence, etc.

Priority can also be defined as the right to precede others in order, rank, privilege, etc.; precedence.

Priority can be refer to as the right to take precedence in obtaining certain supplies, services, facilities, etc., especially during a shortage.

Priority is something given special attention.

And lastly priority is the highest or higher in importance, rank, privilege, etc.:

All definitions are according to dictionaries.

I know you want to know why i want teachers and mostly the primary / nursery school teachers to be taken very important and to stop over looking them.

why i think the Nigerian primary / nursery school teachers should be taken as priority and very important.

Now i will agree with you that what so ever moral lesson a child gets starts from home, that very child must first attain the home lessons before getting to the level of school.

But permit me to say this these teachers are the ones who grind and prepare this children and build them in for quick understanding, and you must agree with me that this is where every child gets any knowledge concerning numbers and alphabets, and these same teachers helps a child fundamental in learning how to reading and write, these where they merely learn where to write from in a book, how to hold a pencil, mostly where they first learn what the National anthem is all about and how to recite the National item.

I know you will want to know why i say they are having difficulties and challenges from the government.

the challenges of the government towards the Nigeria primary / nursery school teachers.

These teachers are so over looked by the government, the politicians and others.

The government make these teachers suffers a . despite of their good work to build the nation.

Their no successful human who will say i did not go to school and which did not pass through the nursery or primary school before he or she stopped.

The government has so much over looked these teachers to the extend that the government will forget if they do eat, train there children or even need comfort.

The government holds their salaries from year to year, at times the government hold these teachers up to 8 to six months mostly here in south south Nigeria.

a brief stories of different teachers trying to survive with the government and the result.

A primary school teacher trying to survive after much hunger always go to farm to be able to make something for food and earn little income from it.

At times this woman even go to the bush to cut fire wood and sell them out to have little earn too.

A day came when this woman went to fetch fire wood for sale and a tree fell on top of this woman's leg and was rushed to hospital, after much treatment the doctor told them the only for the teacher to survive to cut the leg off and which they did and this woman is now a handicap just with one and half right as we speak.

And another teacher also lost a hand as a result of this issue here in delta state.

There are so many other that am not been able to write.

These teachers borrows money a lot just to try their children, and any thing the government managed to release any salary, they know the salary is not for them but the different banks and co operatives where they had borrowed money from.

the only solution for this issues of different accidents happening to teachers.

In some other countries they valued their teachers very well inn fact they are among the highest pay.

And in Nigeria even with their little pay the government still hold it till any time of their choice before think of releasing it.

The government should please endeavor to make it up to them.

Any one who is working today hopes to eat at the end of the month not at the end of the one will starting complaining and calculating how many months they are being hold.

And what shocked me most is that, in delta state every retired teacher must wait till five years before being pay pension, and question is that what are they going to feed with in these period of the five years.
