Resist? or Surrender?

Resistance is the mother of all fury. If we resist things we can not change, we create a silent war inside ourselves. Then, bad things come inside out. Thus, we create our own enemy. Fury dims our senses. It blurs our judgment. Fury results to bigger negativity: hatred, depression and confusion. We are left clueless and don't know what to do. Then we get lost. Sooner we become empty. At worst, we tend to be hopeless.

The solution is to surrender things unalterable to God's hand. Thy will be done. But if there are ways to end up the pain it is not time to surrender. We should do all means to eradicate the pain. We must give our best fight. But then, if there is no solution don't cry or complain. If nothing can be done, what can be attained by asking questions and complaining? What do we gain in resistance? We only destroy ourselves. We only ruin our inner peace. There is nothing but anguish. Let us embrace our cross. It is easier carrying the cross rather than dragging it along the journey.

Surrender with a silent mind and a peaceful heart. Our reward will be peace. From peace to happiness; from happiness to being a source of happiness. He is still our Father who still wants the best for us. We may do not know His purpose but it will be unraveled at the right time.

Surrender is a vision of faith. We stop the anguish thru the vision of faith---- by surrendering. Then, peace reigns even under pain. To surrender is not defeat. It is when you allow God to work His purpose upon you. It is when you let go and let God.

Blessed is the man who travels under the Father's hand. He will never be vanquished. Surrendering is almost close to being invincible.
