Teams Have One Goal In Mind
There’s a true emergence of unity when people you collaborate with really help.
The group of advisers I work with currently are all amazing and great at what they do.
What I have found from working within this culture is people that are selfless, supportive, compassionate, empathetic, and always willing to help.
We bounce ideas off of each other, allow each other the space to grow and also the room to vent.
If one is busy we offer to help if one is sick we take their workload without question.
At times we are frustrated at times we are very silly at times we work in silence.
What I always notice the work that is done is always done with professionalism and to the highest standard because we all know it’s all for our students.
Office culture does matter. Meshing personalities and styles together is important.
One oar doesn’t power a boat one person isn’t bigger than the mission.
We so often spend more time with our coworkers than anyone else so we should ensure that there’s a foundation of a bigger entity.
Find the right talent and nurture and foster their growth and surround them with others that will support that growth process.
An African proverb says “if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together”
