In Africa, Ghana to be precise, being in school with soo much determination as to what to be in future is the most sweetest dream school going children in Ghana dream about. to finished school and to have a very well paid job most especially the government sector jobs which are non existent. your parents will always encourage you to study hard so that you can either grow up to be a doctor, nurse or a teacher etc. so after going through high school with good grades you either choose to go to teacher training college, university or a technical university with hope that you will finish school to find a descent and well paying job to look after yourself ad your family as well. but the hope will begin to fade away after you finished your mandatory national service of one year and the reality will begin to hit you hard. in Ghana to be precise, the curriculum do not encourage young people to develop and to be entrepreneurs but rather concentrate so much on the theory aspect instead of teaching students and preparing them to create their own jobs it rather channel them through teaching them theories which will not be needed in the real world of work. I'm a victim of this problem and I hope Ghana and Africa at large will change their school curriculums to direct their students
towards making them employees instead of them depending so much on the various government to provide them with non existent jobs. thanks hope you like my piece
