How hard can Macro photography be ?

in #teamslovenia7 years ago

Up here, it is quite difficult to get a good shot due to quick weather changes. We must mention the wind. It can be far away from the nice summer breeze. The harsh midday light made it even harder for us, but we were lucky when a short window of cloudy shade appeared. One day we found a beautiful path full of daisies and a few of them had their own ladybug. We said that this is a nice chance to take a picture of one with the macro objective. So we went straight to work. Huh, that was far from easy. A strong wind was the biggest problem because it was constantly moving the daisy outside the frame and with all the moving we disturbed the little ladybug. Once we finally got focus the way we wanted, the little one was walking like it was having a serious race. It was very peaceful at first but later we witnessed how frisky it can really be. We were both happy that it didn’t fly away. I guess it didn’t mind the attention. Actually, it was a little shy, especially that time when I was trying to shelter the daisy from wind with my body and it should’ve been a perfect shot if the ladybug wouldn’t decide to go and check the bottom side of the daisy. It took us way longer than we expected. However, we made it and we are happy to show it to you. Was it worth it? Definitely! If you like it too, we would appreciate it if you like it on Instagram.
