Cities in focus - not (e)scaping them

Theme for this week on TeamSerbia photography contest is cityscape. So I will start with two photos from Abu Dhabi taken at different time of the day.

Next one is from one of the highest viewpoints in Wroclaw. Weather was really crazy that day - cold wind, dark skies but still so bright behind them.

This photo was taken in my hometown on the border of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Which makes a perfect place to drop a quote about cities:

I can tell you that my home town has neither of these two. It is small, visionless and dull but yet it is still standing in time and has some beautiful nature (if there wasn't any human being around).
