Steemit Bootcamp | Get-To-Know Steemit

Last night we had another Steemit Introduction Bootcamp in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Organized by @papanog and @wilsonkoh, the Bootcamp took place in Appsmillion GPS at Bundusan Commercial Centre, Penampang.

It is basically an introduction to the newbies what is Steemit and how does it work.

It was supposed a 2 hours introduction to Steemit with Q&A but we extended the time because the newbies are excited to know more about Steemit and keep throwing questions. Well done guys 😁

These are the topics that the speakers explained during the Bootcamp.

. Do I have to pay to be in steemit
. Why Steemit
. How through community we can do better in steemit.

At the end of the presentation, we had a Q&A session thorough sli.do, an online app for steemians to throw their questions anonymously. The speakers did well answering a total of 37 online questions to all of us.

And there is more! @danieldoughty are planning to organize our very own masterclass here in KK with the help of our experience, resident teacher @alvinauh. I am so excited and looking forward to hearing the announcement. 🤩

Summary

I knew the newbies are thrilled and can hardly wait to start their journey on Steemit but still have a second thoughts on how to start writing their first post. Some may not feel comfortable writing a post and some may think their writing skills are not great. Well, NO ONE IS PERFERCT. However, the beauty of Steemit is that no one is going judge you. Steemit rules are simple. As long you don't commit plagiarism, no abusive content and no spamming, you should be fine. But, you need to remember this. There are some posts get upvoted and some posts might get zero. Don’t feel sad or disheartened. If you keep writing a good post and use the right tags, you will definitely see the results. What matters most, have fun writing and don't get too stressed out.
