WHAT GHOST DISLIKE

My dear Steemian friends, last week my friend Suzan invited me and @kilathecla to her house warming blessing ceremony. We brought some souvenir for her that related to our religions. Her new house is cosy and clean. Being a busybody that we are, we went inside to each rooms in the house. We found it so funny that Suzan put lemon fruits on every corner of the window in her house. I asked what’s it for, she answered, its kept ghosts or bad things to come inside…LOL. So, the next day, I googled and found this article about what do ghost dislike.

SALT, GLUTINOUS RICE AND RED BEANS

Salt, glutinous rice and red beans gather the Yang force. Scattering these three items in haunted places is said to be effective to keep ghost away. When moving into a new house, it is also ideal to spread red beans to chase away stray ghosts. Since winter has longer nights, it is thought to be gathering the Yin force. To counter the Yin force at night, the Japanese cook red bean soup to supplement their Yang force so as to chase away inauspicious force.

DRAWING A CIRCLE

A circle represents an unlimited force which block the ghost’s vision so that it cannot see through what’s inside the circle. If you encounter a ghost, draw a big circle on the floor and stay in there until dawn.

A ROOSTER’S CROWS

A rooster’s crows indicate the dawn. Ghosts vanish in daylight. If you don’t have a rooster at home, perhaps you would need to imitate a rooster crowing when you see a ghost..LOL

A RELIGIOUS ITEMS

Ghosts dislike religious items such as the Bible, the Cross, holy water and prayer beads. Saying a prayer also helps to chase away inauspicious force.

AUSPICIOUS GEMS

A type of gem known as tiger’s eye is a good guardian. Rings, necklaces and bracelets made of tiger’s eye are good for safeguarding us from inauspicious force. Keeping ruby at home or bringing it along with you is a good idea too. The Indians even believe ruby helps cure many diseases.

COURAGEOUS PEOPLE

Ghost love to draw near to those who are timid. Abandoned house are said to be haunted because people feel afraid when they go in there, and the ghosts will have the upper hand. Contrarily, ghosts tend to ignore people who lead a positive and active life.
