Rene did it! We have natural spring onions
Rene has been watching YouTube videos (with her magnifying glass) and looking through how to plant edible plants.
It's easy when we had our own home and we just stick the onions with shoots into the ground and let it grow; but minimal space like our daughter's there is not enough ground to cover for our green fingers.
Rene found a way that our daughter has been trying but fail to re-grow cut onions, and after a few times, taking turns between ourselves to spray and kept the bulb moist enough at high a altitude apartment, we are happy that this is working.
Rene even harvested some of the blades to add into her famous home cooked Asian style soup and it was delicious.
Replanting is a challenge with space, but at least we are well entertained at home when our daughter is busy at work.
