Unreal Engine 4.22 - Real time Ray Tracing!
The future is here!
This means that editing stuff in 3D is unbiased and you will get all the stuff to look as it should be. But at a certain cost of course.
You need to be on Windows 10 the latest version, having the latest NVIDIA RTX Graphics Cards (not cheap) and of course, the latest version of the Unreal Engine 4.22, which is fortunately is free!
Yup...that's the price. Got to start looking for installment plans for upgrading my current workstation. For now I just got only one of the three in the list checked....which is the free Unreal Engine haha.
Upgrading
The future is here but Im not with them...yet. Another issue with upgrading to the latest and the most powerful Nvidia GPU which is the 2080 Ti RTX is I need some serious update on my aging workstation.
The Dual Xeon CPUs only doing 2.5GHz whilst the 2080 Ti will be needing at least 4.5Ghz to avoid bottlenecking.
Another thing is the power supply. A reddit post saying it would need a minimum 650W power supply and you should have 100W extra for other stuff.
Well, thats the two things apart from other problems that might come up while installing the GPU. And also learning how Ray Tracing works.
