Welcoming a new born - Huawei Nova 3i
Huawei almost did a good job. Why? Because it have a duplicate phone feature from any previous phone to clone over.
But essential settings data is still non transferable so I have to wait for my 4.3GB WhatsApp data to be uploaded and downloaded later.
There were some really cool feature that I have noticed including the finger sensor recognition like others and the obvious ones like the dual cameras that I will look into, but something that Android fails to do that iOS managed to sooth some nerves about privacy is that it cannot set the data location feature only turned on when the app is used while you have it off at most of the time.
Apparently there is a voice learning app in this Nova 3i that I have decided to turn it off at the moment until I am comfortable to venture out since it requires a specific account that is stored in the Huawei database.
Cloud maybe a really cool and convenient feature but it will definitely compromise privacy.
Now I pray that my old Meizu note 2 will live on until I have figured out how to backup my private key wallets that did not cross over during the clone as it has already hung 3 times today especially when I tried to set a Grab Car service for my parents who were waiting in the hospital to be picked up after my dad’s check up.
(That would be another story rant ahem and review when I found out the horror)
wait... is it just me or are there some icons that in the Nova 3i that resemblance a lot like the iPhone icons??
There are some good things I love about the Meizu interface and its transparency on how the structure is stored unlike the Huawei that closes off the main folder settings from itchy hands; but for an IT maintenance person, this is a bit of a nerve wrecking because I could not do what I can do for WhatsApp messenger.
(So the tips and tricks of backup and restore for android phones no longer valid for this fella)

I realised that from iOS when there are notifications and I click on it, it doesn't take me to the message, this is particularly un-useful when you have a notification but got lost along the way, and half of the time I will need to scroll for it.
I'll see what happens from the Android side.
I feel in android listing it feels a little misleading on the number of conversation @partiko. There are 4 conversations in this but 3 replies (excluding) mine. If that's the case it should not be parked below.

Congratulations on your new phone @littlenewthings! I was going to buy myself a new phone too, but apparently most of the phones that I was interested at is way above my budget. Maybe the price will drop after a few months, and hopefully Steem will be bullish by then.

Thanks @beverlyjoe mine was just dying off by the day with the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Even if I have lowered the storage size I guess the ROM was already falling apart.

My Note 3 Neo has the same specs as your old phone, and it is already extremely outdated. I have a huge problem with the batteries eventhough I have changed it to new a couple of times. Thanks for the info, I will surely check out Shopee.
