My First Meetup with #teammalaysia Community
It was a last minute decision to join the sharing session conducted by Simon Pang also known as @bitrocker2020 in the Steemit world of blogging. Reason being said so because I had a tight schedule on yesterday. In the end, I still decided to attend it.
@bitrocker2020 consider one of the pioneers from Malaysia who join Steemit earlier. His contribution to the community has made a huge impact towards Malaysian not only to bloggers, but together with artist and musician too. It is a great honor to learn directly from him as well.
Before the session started, I manage to meet up with some of the fellows #teammalaysia community members, including @tadstrange, @killuminatic, @izyan and @aaronleang. It was a fantastic experience finally to meet them in real person.
This sharing session is about “Create Contents and Earn Cryptocurrency”. He explains what Steemit is all about and how we earn from it. It was a brilliant idea to use live poll to gather survey and questionnaire from the audience in the beginning. Surprisingly, based on the live survey, nearly 50% who attended already had an account with Steemit.
He gave many examples how others earn their cryptocurrency in Steemit. One of the Steemit username caught my attention, which earn a total payout of $20,528.34. That is a dream that I would like to achieve in the future.
20 days ago when I wrote how I manage to join it, the #teammalaysia community was about 850+ members. Today the numbers have been growing over is 900+.

It is still regrettable not able to have conversation with the rest community members especially @bitrocker2020 since it is a rare opportunity to meet him. Due to the rush schedule, I have also forgotten to take photos with them.

Yup. I did meet few of them. I believe there is more who attend that I did not meet yet.
