Foodie On The Move - Mochu Locco Zakka Café

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, my wife and I stayed at home NBTD (nothing better to do). I turned on my laptop and tune into live jazz radio. With the relaxing jazz song filling up the air, suddenly the mood kicked in, mode of chill in a cozy café with a cup of hot Americano. Yeah, my wife and I like to chill at some random cafes, read books, browse through magazines or just casual chitchat.
/一个懒散的星期天，我跟太太还有女儿呆在家闷，时间过得很慢。闷闷的气氛只好开机，放一些爵士音乐。轻松的爵士音乐填满了客厅，突然间想到不然就去一家咖啡店听听音乐，喝喝咖啡也不错。我跟太太一直以来也很喜欢这样过时间的，无论拍拖，结婚后，甚至有了小孩，也时不时会去咖啡店呆。手上一杯香浓热咖啡，边喝边看杂志，看书，上上网，或者只是聊聊天也可以。

Since we need to pick up our daughter from the tuition center in the next two hours, we can't go far. I know there are a lot of hidden cafes around Cheras area. With a quick search on the internet, I came across Mochu Locco Zakka Café, which is just five min drive from my house. They get quite a lot of good reviews, and the environment is not bad either. So, we decided to give them a try.
/我们只能够去附近的咖啡店因为两个小时后要去补习中心载大女儿。知道家附近其实有很多隐藏着的咖啡店，上网查了下看到了Mochu Locco Zakka Café。这家咖啡店离开我家只有五分钟的车程，而且网民的评语也不错，就试试吧！

Located at the peak of Bukit Segar, and taking up the highest floor, it's not easy to spot them. I passed by these shop a lot, but I didn't notice them at all.
/那排店屋驾车经过很多次，就是不发觉有家咖啡店呢。我想原因应该是他们的店在顶楼的关系吧。

Why the name Mochu Locco? Well, basically this café owned by two sisters, namely Mochu and Locco. Mochu also very much into Zakka, so they have included a small area to sell Zakka as well.
/这家咖啡馆是由两姐妹经营的。一位叫Mochu，另一位叫Locco，当然这是他们的又名。Mochu对手工艺品也很有兴趣，所以他们安排了一个角落专门卖一些手工艺品。

They served cakes, pastries, and some light food such as croissants, bagels, baked eggs, and scones. Although the menu looks simple, we can see they put a lot of effort decorating the food to make it as presentable as possible. We didn't order any of their food since we just had our lunch not long ago.
/他们的餐单有糕点，还有一些比较清淡的食物如牛角包，百吉饼，烤蛋和烤饼。看得出他们对每一道食物都很用心，摆设的很漂亮。这次我们没点吃的，因为才刚用午餐不久。吃的就留给下次光临吧！

Even I am craving a cup of hot Americano, I decided to skip it because I so wanted to try their signature purple sweet potato latte and earl grey cafe latte. On top of that, we also ordered their tiramisu cake.
/虽然我很想喝杯咖啡，看见网民推荐他们的招牌紫甘薯拿铁还有伯爵灰色咖啡拿铁，就例外的尝尝吧。我们还点了一片提拉米苏试试味道。

Earl grey cafe latte/格雷伯爵茶拿铁 - 8/10 (RM11)

Coffee mixed with Earl grey tea. Not a bad combination. I personally preferred this than the purple sweet potato latte.
/就是格雷伯爵茶加上拿铁。蛮不错的组合。比起紫甘薯拿铁，我个人比较喜欢这杯。

Signature purple sweet potato latte/ 招牌紫甘薯拿铁 - 8/10 (RM10)

Ground sweet potato + milk with no additional essence added. So, you will get the original taste of sweet potato. Recommended.
/ 把紫薯磨碎加上牛奶，没加其他调味料。香香的紫薯原味很好喝。推荐哦！

The tiramisu cake is just so-so. So, I don't want to discuss it here.
/提拉米苏蛋糕的味道没什么特别。
