Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I was oblivious of the state of Aceh back then in 2001 as I was young back then. It certainly does feel different, reading it from someone who survived in the modern-era war, as compared to reading diaries of war like Anne Frank. May your country ever be a peaceful one, I pray. We are very grateful to Malaysia who has helped Aceh a lot, especially by accommodating the many victims who fled to Malaysia during the war. Even today there are still many Acehnese who feel more comfortable and easy to find sustenance in Malaysian soil. Thank you very much to Malaysia.
