The Other Side of Gordon Ramsay

He has restaurants in the UK and also in America, he has hosted and judged numerous cooking shows and competitions. This man needs no introduction as we all know he is one of the world’s most admirable and hated celebrity chef 👨‍🍳 of all time!

Despite, his ferocious hot tempers and mouth swearing insults, there is a softer side to Chef Gordon Ramsay. This morning as I was looking through my emails, I came across one email which was sent by Houzz (home remodelling and design app which I subscribed to).

The email featured Gordon Ramsay, apparently the other side of Gordon Ramsay. No cooking in the kitchen, or food tasting or commenting on dishes. This video which I will share, captures the creative thinking, designer side and the softer side of Chef Ramsay.

In this video, Ramsay surprises his friend and Season 10 winner of Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” Christina Wilson, with a renovation of the Philadelphia row house she bought with her winnings from the show. He worked with a Philadelphia-based designer from the Houzz community to renovate and redecorate Wilson’s home. The result is an open, functional and beautifully updated space.

Seeing the other side of Gordon Ramsay seemed almost unreal, coupled with the amazing transformation of Wilson’s home... and by exposing his compassionate side, kindness and generosity really shows the different side of Chef Ramsay that we hardly see on TV. This probably makes him more admirable as a celebrity chef, or NOT! 😜 What say you?
