Celebrating Lunar Chinese New Year with the traditional RED - or Ang .. Literally refer to Prosperity

Chinese around the world will be celebrating their Lunar Chinese New Year on 16th of Feb 2018. It is a day no matter where you are, will come back to you parents house to celebrate this auspicious day together.
2018年2月16日，世界各地的中国人将庆祝农历新年。无论你在哪里，都会回到你父母家共同庆祝这个吉祥的日子。

There are some small gestures practice with the Chinese in general that to hold something new and in red. Ang Pau packet for example is red, handicraft are in red, new clothing wear during CNY are mostly in red. Some even believe wearing RED underwear too.

In Malaysia, we like to use new notes in Red too. For some reason, new notes are very limited with the bank this year. I have asked for several banks and all of them said "no more". You can keep withdraw from the same ATM until someone queue at the back ask you to give way
