TeamMalaysia group outing!

This is actually my first trip together with teamMalaysia steemit group and it was really fun and interesting.

Our destination was the Montfort San Damiano boys hostel at kiulu ,sabah.
I was pretty excited to participate in this outing because i rarely ever do these types of trips. So its like a great ice breaker for me too.
We all pretty much band together and provide charity supplies to these institutions as they are always in need of support from outside sources to be able to provide a better living and learning environment for the tenants of these hostel.
All of which are teenagers between the age of 16 and above.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the boys and their manager Mr.Vincent just outside the hostel and then proceeded to transfer all the supplies.

The kids working together as a team to haul the supplies from our cars to their drop off point.

After we finish transferring all the supplies we the teammalaysia group was greeted by a welcoming song sang by the boys. I must say they were pretty well trained in choir singing. (^.^)

As part of our program the boys have included their own talents to showcase to the teammalaysia group.
to my surprise we found some diamond in the rough in some of the boys who have performed. I believe if they were given proper guidance towards maximizing their talents. The sky is the limit!

and these are just few of many other talents that is waiting to be grown in this hostel.(i just couldnt show everything because my phone was crying for a charge T.T)

So thats it for todays post. It was a really enjoyable charity outing with the sabah gang of teammalaysia. we were all happy that not only we but the boys in the montfort San Damiano also enjoyed our short time together. We sincerely hope that what we did today would make a difference in their lives.
