The Steemit Shop supporting growth of Steemian

Recently i am truly fortunate to have the opportunity to engaged with David aka @birdinc of The Steemit Shop. While our initial conversation was about other matters, it end up with something truly meaning and positive.

I also find that @birdinc is a real gentlemen, someone who truly cares about the growth of steemit and is supporting what he see as good initiatives the promote steemit.

If you dont know yet, The Steemit Shop is where you purchase merchandise that is steemit and steem related. A lot of people dont realized that there is an online shop that sell these stuff. Perhaps steemians not bothered so much to scroll all the way down on the menu button at steemit.com. So now you know.

During our discussion through email, i told @birdinc that i am running two contest initiatives to encourage creating of content and promoting the growth of steemit in my region. The initiative has bigger purpose than the contest alone. These contest are OK Bah! Open Mic Contest and Tell your Story Contest

As soon as he knows about the contest and what the contest is all about, to my surprise he offer to support the contest by donating Steem Dollar.

I am truly grateful to him, this also means that i can now put in added value to the contest.
